Appointments:
At Heart Specialists of Northern Virginia patients
are seen on an appointment basis.
All patients
are asked to bring a current list of medications
to their visit with us. Also a copy
of the most recent labs and EKGs/ECGs are to be faxed to our office
prior to patient's appointment.
Stress Nuclear Tests:
Typically our nuclear stress test patients are assigned early morning appointments because this specific test
last at least 5 hours.
Follow-up appointments:
Follow-up appointments are
scheduled n the mornings through early afternoon except on Tuesdays and Thursdays when diagnostic testings are scheduled.
New patient consults are scheduled along with follow-up appointments also. There are exceptions to every rule and
we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
We value your time and will do our best to see you
at your appointed time.
When making your appointment, please describe
your problem to the receptionist in detail so that
the appropriate amount of time and appointment can be scheduled.
If
you have a medical problem that needs immediate
attention,
please go to the nearest emergency room. If you
are experiencing symptoms that can be addressed
at an office visit, we will work you into our schedule
as quickly as the schedule allows.
If you are unable to keep an appointment, please
notify the receptionist as soon as possible. Missed
appointments will incur a fee of $25 for notifying our office within less
than 24-hr.
For stress nuclear testing a charge of $150 will be charged if you miss this appointment. We order materials for the the test that are non returnable which we incur the costs and will charge the patient for.
To aid us
in providing safe medical care, please bring a list
of all your medications (Prescription and Over the Counter) to
each appointment.
Please bring a list of your concerns
to discuss with the doctor also.
